User Generated Content – project descriptions and attachments, bid description, user profiles, user reviews, contest descriptions and attachment, user messages etc.

Users(Buyers/Sellers) can give permission for us to connect to their account on other platforms to collect personal information. This includes but is not limited to Google, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. Information collected will be governed by this Privacy Policy. Users can stop us from collecting data from other platforms by removing our access on the other platform or by contacting our support team.

Users have the ability to invite non-users to our platform by providing contact details such as email address. In these situations, the information will be collected and stored by us to contact the non-user and to prevent abuse of the invite systems.

Your payment provider may transmit information about the payment that we may collect or process.

In some situations, personal information of users may be collected from public sources.

Basic Details – username, profile picture.

03. Why do we need this information:

We need this information to allow us to communicate with our users regarding current orders and provide users with services relating to this. The PayPal or Stripe data allows us to check the details of receipts and payments made by or to our users, and is necessary for us to calculate how much commission we earn and how much money we should pay to our members. We keep your messages because we sometimes need them to help resolve disputes between users and FEMTJobs, should they arise, in accordance with our ‘service guarantee’. This helps us to ensure the integrity of the platform; prevent fraud and misuse and; provide a secure and easy place for users to trade their skills. All of the above is vital to ensuring we offer a safe and high quality service to our users. Should we need to use your information for reasons other than those set out in this policy, your consent will be obtained beforehand.

We use information collected through the Service to provide and improve the Service, process your requests, prevent fraud, provide you with information and advertising that may interest you, comply with the law, and as otherwise permitted with your consent. 06. User Profiles: Freelancers/ Clients may create a profile, with certain or all information publicly available.

07. Messaging: Freelancers/Clients may communicate with each other through the Service. For example, Freelancers and Clients may wish to discuss Client needs and Freelancer work proposals. FEMTJobs’s authority reserves right to access those message.

08. Community Forums/Blog: We may offer public forums or blogs. If you participate, your contents, comments and questions will be publicly displayed.

09. Email to Friends and Affilliate/Referral Program: You can referral to your friends through email for our affilliate program. FEMTJobs also offers the ability to send friends emails about providing or purchasing services through the Service. FEMTJobs stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email and tracking the success of our referral program. Your friend may contact us at our support centre to request that we remove this information from our database.

10. Age Compliance: All users of FEMTJobs.com must be over the age of 13. We are in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act). We do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13-years-old or older.

11. Links to other sites: Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our website. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about these sites.

12. Data Retensions: FEMTJobs retains most user information for a minimum of five years. After five years we will review and delete (anonymise) if appropriate. FEMTJobs has no legal requirement to retain message records. Records are retained to resolve queries and disputes between users for as long as necessary. Data may also be retained until no longer needed from closed accounts to prevent fraudulent or other illegal activity, resolve any ongoing disputes or collect outstanding fees.

13. Information Sharing And Disclosure: We may share information about you to provide the Services, for legal and investigative purposes or if we are part of a merger or acquisition. We may also share non-identifying information with third parties. Our third party service providers are bound by contract to only use your personal information on our behalf, under our instructions.

  • SMS providers
  • Payment and banking providers
  • Marketing and analytics providers

Third party applications-

It is possible for users to grant third party applications access to their FEMTJobs account. Depending on the permissions that are granted, these applications may be able to access some personal information or do actions on the users’ behalf. These third party applications are not controlled by us and will be governed by their own privacy policy. Users are able to remove third party applications from access their data through their settings.

Thus, while we strive to protect your Personal Information, FEMTJobs cann’t ensure and does not warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.

15. Accessing, correcting, or downloading your personal information: You will be able to access any information contained in your account through our Platform. You may edit that information by removing or changing the information listed in your account. Most of the user generated content (UGC) on the website can be updated directly by our users once they have logged in. We may require some personal information to make any changes in terms of verifying your identity as a security measure. Users have the right to delete their account at anytime, and this can be arranged by contacting the support desk who will arrange this for you. Additionally, please be aware that once we have deleted your UGC from the site it may still be viewable by some users, if for example it remains cached on their system or they have taken copies e.g.  a ‘screen grab’.If you have any questions or wish to review, change, or access any of your information collected by us, please contact our support center.
